SEND Provision & Practice with a focus on provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (NQT/RQTs)

This training session will provide participants with an overview of the SEN code of Practice and how this impacts on their practice. Within the session there will also be a focus on how schools can support pupils with attachment and SEMH needs.

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

  • Understand the principles of the SEND Code of Practice and how these impact on practice.
  • Have an awareness of the range of provision for pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Recognise how attachment can impact on a pupils behaviour and ability to 'settle to learn'
  • Begin to identify strategies that will support pupils with SEMH

This session will be taking place on 28.02.18, from 2pm until 5pm at Woodfield Primary School. 

This course will cost £25 per person for Enhanced Members, £35 per person for Core Members, and £50 per person for Non-Members.
