Leadership of Teaching & Learning: Key drivers for improving the quality of teaching in your school

This course will outline approaches to improving the quality of teaching & learning in schools. It will identify key aspects of how leaders should be holding staff to account and how to provide the effective support in order to secure improvement.

Securing highly effective teaching and learning by considering:

  • The importance of nurturing a culture for learning
  • Responsive monitoring to support forensic diagnosis
  • Some key components of effective support

This event will be taking place on 06.06.18, from 9:30am until 12:30pm at The Pinfold Building (PiL new building), Sheep Dip Lane, Dunscroft, DN7 4AU

This course will cost £70 per person for Enhanced Members, £90 per person for Core Members, and £110 per person for Non-Members.

Kathy Wild and Sue Rushfirth have vast experience of working in a range of roles within the primary sector. They were both primary headteachers and have supported schools in very challenging circumstances. More recently they were both Senior Standard and Effectiveness Officers in Doncaster and played an instrumental role in moving schools from special measures to good.
