Session 2: RQT Programme

The RQT Programme aims to equip the participants to manage the shift from NQT to RQT. They will develop the capacity to become reflective practitioners, identifying areas for personal development which will become embedded in their daily practice. RQTs will learn how to implement and manage change both within and beyond their own classroom.

RQTS will be invited to:

  • Attend 3 guided-learning sessions to support an Action Research Project that centres on one of the following: AfL, development of literacy or Growth Mindset. All sessions are centred around recent and relevant research. Sessions will be held at Hungerhill School and run from 4.00-5.30pm.

Session 2: Thursday 1st March - An opportunity to reflect on your own action research project and gather feedback from peers.

Session 3: Thursday 21st June - Presentation of the findings and next steps for your action research project.

In order to reserve your place on the NQT programme you will need to book onto each session through the website, the website will be updated once sessions have taken place.

“The safeguarding health check was incredibly useful. Dr Mujahid Ali was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He fully explored our school systems and processes. He also made practical suggestions and shared some useful documentation which will allow us to improve our practice further. I feel that we are in a really good position as a school now to answer to an inspection team".
