On the 6th October Opportunities Doncaster, the education arm of Doncaster Chamber of Commerce, will be launching its new and exciting Education Membership package and bespoke Career Ready Programme (linked to the CDI Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks). The programme is full of high quality, popular activities such as employability skills days, employer talks, mock interviews and many more!
Education Membership is for any educational establishment offering valuable support, services, collaborative opportunities and business-related benefits. By focusing on connecting business with education it helps Doncaster’s students succeed and provides positive impacts for education, business and local people.

Doncaster’s flagship careers event is back
OD Live 2022 – 10th March 2022
We’re excited to announce that this year the event is being held at the iconic Doncaster Racecourse during National Careers Week.
OD Live 2022 gives students the chance to meet professionals from a variety of roles and industries and get advice on how to kick start their careers. By the end of the day, students should leave with a wealth of information on local opportunities and further study options.
Featuring over 100 exhibitors, live interactive talks from local businesses, wrap around careers and jobs resources, a bespoke primary/SEND hub and much more, the event aims to Engage, Educate and Inspire young people to consider and pursue career pathways they might not have considered. The event also includes a tailored session between 3 pm and 6 pm for older students, parents and other adults seeking career support.
