Exciting Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Partners in Learning Leadership Team on a 2 year fixed term contract to be reviewed at the end of year 1. Working with an established and dynamic team we are looking for an innovative, ambitious and forward thinking individual who has the strategic vision to:

  • Lead and manage the School Improvement division and staff team of the Teaching School Alliance (TSA) with a focus on the TSA vision at all times
  • Lead on the school improvement vision, school to school support, StEP Programme and Raising Achievement Programme
  • Oversee the work of the StEPs, School to School Support and QA Consultants and School Improvement Consultants
  • Contribute to the QA of School Improvement
  • Keep up to date with the national education agenda
  • Continually reflect on, review and update the TSA school improvement models,  policies and programmes
  • Research best practice models of School Improvement
  • Work in collaboration with the LA and other external organisations
  • Work in collaboration with the Partners in Learning Secondary TSA when applicable
  • Explore opportunities to generate income for the Teaching School; including bids for funding to further support school improvement
  • Manage school improvement funding and budgets

The successful candidate will be a determined and inspirational individual with a proven track record in educational leadership and management, school improvement and staff development. They will be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be driven by a keen moral purpose and desire to raise aspirations and life chances for our children, young people and communities.
