The majority of our Leadership Programmes have now commenced and feedback has been extremely positive; delegates involved in the Futures Thinking Programme started the course with a presentation from Sir John West-Burnham. We are in the early stages of planning new and exciting opportunities for all staff in schools, including Governors, for the Spring Term. More information will be available shortly.
25 delegates attended the first session of the ‘Help! I’m a Middle Leader’ programme this term and we have received fantastic feedback from both the delegates and their schools. One delegate personally thanked the tutor following the first session, they said ‘I just wanted to say thank you very much for today. It's been a while since I have been on a course and felt so inspired to develop my own practice and take an active role in the schools overall improvement’. Participants are currently working on their action plans then will be visited by their programme tutor to see what is being implemented. A statutory assessment tool that helps schools meet their duties in supporting pupils who are working below the level of the national curriculum and who are not engaged in subject- specific study. This course is aimed at all schools – mainstream primary and secondary schools, special schools and Integrated Resource settings (I.R.’s) and will run across 3 dates (you must attend all 3 sessions): 8th February 2021, 8th March 2021 and 26th April 2021 - all 1.30pm – 3.30pm and the sessions will be delivered via Zoom in order for us to comply with the current government guidelines around COVID 19.Read more
