The Partners in Learning Secondary Teaching School have been designated by NCTL as the training provider for school leaders wishing to become Pupil Premium Reviewers for Yorkshire and the Humber. The launch event was aimed at developing system leaders’ understanding of how to prepare for a pupil premium review. Sir John Dunford, who was the National Pupil Premium Champion from 2013 to 2015 was a key note speaker at the event. He has worked with schools, trusts, teaching schools and local authorities across the country on the effective use of the pupil premium framework to raise the educational achievement of disadvantaged pupils.
A statutory assessment tool that helps schools meet their duties in supporting pupils who are working below the level of the national curriculum and who are not engaged in subject- specific study. This course is aimed at all schools – mainstream primary and secondary schools, special schools and Integrated Resource settings (I.R.’s) and will run across 3 dates (you must attend all 3 sessions): 8th February 2021, 8th March 2021 and 26th April 2021 - all 1.30pm – 3.30pm and the sessions will be delivered via Zoom in order for us to comply with the current government guidelines around COVID 19.Read more
