Our Director Janet Foster attended the Roots of Empathy celebration on 6th July 2017. 36 babies (tiny teachers) were also in attendance!! We were very pleased to hear that Partners in Learning have contributed considerably by encouraging schools to engage in this programme.
There were speakers throughout the day, including health professionals and teachers.
The celebration marked the end of the year’s successful programme. Children from Kirkby Avenue Primary school were given the opportunity to speak about their personal experiences. The children thanked the babies and spoke about what they have learnt and the impact it has had.
Roots of Empathy is continuing in Doncaster next year. For more information about Roots of Empathy please follow the link to their website www.rootsofempathy.org
