TSA LLE Regional Training

Colleagues from Teaching Schools across the region including Business Managers, Directors and Chief Executives worked together and used this opportunity to share their experiences and expertise.  In recognition of the fantastic systems and processes currently in place at Partners in Learning around school to school support and System Leader recruitment, the course was facilitated by our very own Helen Bellinger and Sara Harle, who worked in conjunction with Sarah Rockliff of Learning Unlimited TSA.

The purpose of the course was:

  • To provide an opportunity to learn about and better understand the regional proposal for LLE recruitment, designation and deployment;
  • To provide an understanding of the current educational climate regarding System Leadership and School to School Support;
  • To support Teaching School/Alliance’s with the recruitment, training and deployment of LLEs;
  • To develop and sustain a shared delivery model that ensures high standards and consistency across the region;
  • To build system leader capacity across the region;
  • To seek out opportunities of local collaborative approaches.

All of the above was successfully done and feedback from the courses has been brilliant - a tweet from the day “Leading in the wider system sustains and refreshes us. Always learning”.  We have to agree with this statement.
