New NQT Mentor Training

Course outcomes:

  • have an understanding of the Statutory Guidance relating to Newly Qualified Teachers
  • have an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the school, the mentor, the NQT and the Appropriate Body
  • know what good induction looks like 
  • an overview of model documentation
  • understand the place of the formal termly Assessment Reviews and Assessment forms
  • listened to practice in our schools from experienced mentors
  • have information about the Partners in Learning Offer for NQTs

 

Audience: New or inexperienced NQT Mentors 

Details: Tuesday 9th July, 9am until 12 noon at The Pinfold Building.
