This is the sixth and final one of our half termly leadership networks for leaders for the academic year 2020 to 2021 and has a focus on Every Learner Matters and Matters Equally. The Leadership Network has been developed as a forum to support all leaders in Doncaster’s educational settings to develop their Covid -19 provision and support for all pupils, particularly the most vulnerable during the recovery period and beyond. This will be done with a focus on Doncaster’s 10 CORE (Curriculum Opportunities for Re-imagining Education) principles that have been developed in collaboration with educational settings to respond to Covid-19. The Leadership Network will take place half termly and focus on the work of the Wellbeing and Curriculum and its working groups of: Health and Wellbeing Teaching and Learning Equity and Diversity Behaviour and Transition which are all integral components of Doncaster’s Education and Skills Strategy 2030. The Leadership Network provides a forum for cross-phase discussion about the national issues that leaders in Doncaster are facing and through this to form local priorities to address these issues. The forum brings knowledge into our local system and provide thinking from cutting-edge leaders across the country whilst also providing opportunities to showcase current best practice within our local system. This particular Leadership Network focuses on Every Learner Matters and Matters Equally. Leaders in Doncaster will have an opportunity to network with others in the system, consider practice and have time to reflect on the important leadership issues in this area.
