The Professional Learning and Evidence Informed Practice Offer
We believe that good evidence is a core component for effective teaching and learning. As a Teaching School Alliance and Research School we are committed to supporting schools in the use of robust evidence, we will do our utmost to model this belief. Our Professional Learning programmes model the characteristics of effective professional development to help schools engage in learning that helps teachers thrive and children succeed.
Our Professional Learning and Evidence Informed Practice is divided into four categories; Networks, Short Courses, Extended Programmes and Conferences.
Members of Partners in Learning Ltd are entitled to the Professional Learning and Evidence Informed Practice Super Six Offer outlined below:
1. Unlimited FREE Places on Seminars
2. Short Courses - (1 free place on 2 courses) on particular courses
3. Leadership Extended Programmes - (1 free place on 1 programme per school. 2 free places on 1 programme for schools with more than 300 pupils)
4. Headteachers Breakfast Briefing - (Unlimited free places)
5. Curriculum and Subject Networks - (Unlimited free places)
6. TeachMeet - (Unlimited free places)
We also still offer Bespoke Professional Learning, we have a vast list of system leaders who have been trained to design and facilitate the highest level of training to staff. The Partners in Learning Early Career Teacher Network is designed and facilitated to support NQTs through a series of face-to-face sessions.
This network is a series of face to face sessions to support and inform all Maths Subject Leaders in their profession.
The Partners in Learning Primary NQT programme is designed and facilitated to support NQTs through a series of face-to-face training sessions, gap tasks and a peer network. This extended programme will be sustained over a ten-month period and will be designed in line with the Standard for teachers’ professional development (DfE 2016). It will complement in-school CPD and support from mentors. Wherever possible we will draw upon the best available evidence on teaching and learning.
Partners in Learning are inviting all senior leaders, teachers & learning mentors to this half day session to support and develop the well-being of all children in school.
Senior Leader Development Programme which demystifies the professional practice of implementation for school improvement
Middle Leader Development Programme which focuses on leading and implementing a school improvement initiative in school.
Two half day sessions with the opportunity to practice and reflect on the practical application of using this approach
Partners in Learning are inviting all Senior Leaders, Headteachers, Mental Health & Well Being Leads to this extended programme to support and develop a mentally healthy school.
Teaching Assistants Extended Programme which focuses on raising the impact of teaching assistants within class and intervention.
Partners in Learning are inviting all Senior Leaders, Headteachers, Mental Health & Well Being Leads to this full day session to support and develop the well-being of all children in school.
This is an opportunity for Headteachers and Senior Leaders to receive key updates and information regarding Partners in Learning priorities and details of new developments nationally and regionally which will impact on Doncaster Schools.
These networks are designed to promote collaborative working across Doncaster and to support English Co-Coordinators and Subject Leaders in their roles within school.
