The Professional Learning and Evidence Informed Practice - Super Six Membership Offer

We believe that good evidence is a core component for effective teaching and learning. As a Teaching School Alliance and Research School we are committed to supporting schools in the use of robust evidence, we will do our utmost to model this belief. Our Professional Learning programmes model the characteristics of effective professional development to help schools engage in learning that helps teachers thrive and children succeed.

Members of Partners in Learning Ltd are entitled to the Professional Learning and Evidence Informed Practice Super Six Offer outlined below:

1. Seminars - (Unlimited free places)

  • Curriculum Development

2. Short Courses - (1 free place on 2 courses) 

  • Wider curriculum
  • Geography
  • SEND & progress of SEN pupils
  • SCMH for students
  • Behaviour
  • Coaching

3. Leadership Extended Programmes - (1 free place on 1 programme per school. 2 free places on 1 programme for schools with more than 300 pupils)

  • Coaching for Improvement: This programme will offer the opportunity for leaders to reflect on practice and reflect on the practical application of using this coaching approach. The two half day sessions will provide the delegates with the understanding of coaching and how it can support professional development whilst considering the evidence regarding coaching for improved performance and much more.
  • Implementing Change – A Middle Leaders Guide to School Improvement: This programme is designed and facilitated to enable Middle Leaders to develop their understanding of leadership and to implement and manage a focused school project to affect measurable impact and sustainable change.
  • Putting Evidence to Work – A Senior Leaders Guide to School Improvement: This programme is designed and facilitated to enable Senior Leaders to implement and manage a focused School Improvement project to affect measurable impact and sustainable change.
  • Health & Wellbeing Programme: This programme is designed to enable teachers to understand how their own mental health and wellbeing can impact on their effectiveness in the classroom. With opportunities for self reflection, exploring the evidence behind how your mind can help and hinder your effectiveness as a teacher and practical strategies to gain more time for you.

4. Headteachers Breakfast Briefing - (Unlimited free places)

These termly meetings are an opportunity for Headteachers and Senior Leaders to receive key updates and information regarding national and local updates along with Partners in Learning priorities which may impact on Doncaster Schools. 

5. Curriculum and Subject Networks - (Unlimited free places)

These networks are an opportunity to share ideas and best practice with your colleagues. They are facilitated by System Leaders and have been successfully established for over five years. Networks include: English, Maths, Geography, History, Critical Thinking, SBM.

6. TeachMeet - (Unlimited free places)

TeachMeets are an opportunity for classroom teachers and leaders to experience a fun and informal approach to Professional Learning. The sessions offer real classroom evidence and innovative techniques to improve and develop current teaching practices.
