The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work as part of a team to promote the learning and welfare of children to learn effectively, inside and outside of the classroom.

Our children are at the heart of everything we do. They need to feel safe and happy in a place where we nurture and develop their independent learning skills and respect for both themselves and others.

Ideally you will have considerable experience of working within the classroom environment and understand how to motivate and support children to achieve their potential. You will have experience of delivering high quality interventions and planning/delivering of lessons under the supervision of a teacher. If you are an outstanding candidate, with a drive to be part of something exciting and passionate about making a difference to childrens lives then this is the opportunity for you.


We would expect:

  • An experienced candidate with at least 4 years experience as a Learning Support Assistant or 2 years experience as a HLTA.
  • Proven experience in behavior management.
  • Clear knowledge and understanding of practice in school.
  • Create a supportive ethos for staff and pupil’s to succeed.
  • A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A team player who contributes to whole school improvement.

Would you like to work in a school where the “Pupils concentrate in lessons and show positive behaviour for learning” in a role where training and partnerships with local schools is enabling teachers to improve their practice?  If this is the case, then this could be the role for you.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Primary School are looking to recruit a Year 2/3 Teacher to start this September. The school offers a truly inclusive approach to its pupils and is now looking to add an additional professional to their well-established teaching team.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher who would be interested in taking on this rewarding role. The headteacher would welcome applications from teachers who will attain NQT status in August of this year, she would also welcome experienced teachers who can develop the children in their class. The successful candidate will be able to display a passion for teaching and must be able to be diverse in the way they teach. The successful candidate will also be able to empathise and support the wholly inclusive teaching and curriculum in this Catholic school.
